works well for free TV September 30, 2014

Works well in getting the local TV stations I found that it was a good replacement to my old Antenna. Easy to set up and I am not an expert in Radio waves.

Worked great! May 26, 2014
Reviewer: anonymous from Oxnard, CA
This cm-3018 antenna works great. I am 64 miles from the towers in L.A. with mountains in between.  I mounted it 25 ft off the ground on my roof with the chimeney mounting kit and the 7778 preamp all made by Channel Master.  I am pulling in 80-90 channels (40-50 non-english, but impressive none the less).  The picture quality on my 1080p HDTV is better with the antenna than when I was using Time Warner Cable's HD box.  Overall including cables and grounding wires/clamps it will pay for itself in 3 months, and it only took me a half day to get working (first time installing an antenna).  No more cable bill... I couldn't be happier.

Works well but February 19, 2014

Item works as described .  40 miles away pulls in weak signals now 28/30 when before 15/30 and dropping out.  Preamp is a must though.  I was shipped the antenna as an open box.  I can see why as there was no holes pre drilled into the antenna boom.  Overall a good purchase.

Free TV is Great! January 16, 2014
Reviewer: Stephen Georgeson from Northborough, MA
I got fed up with $80.00/month cable bill, so I made the switch to free TV.  Investigated and found Channel Master to be one of the leaders.  Bought the 3018 and am very satisfied.  I receive 24 channels in the Boston market.  I bought a smart TV and signed up for NetFlix so I could watch a bunch of shows that I lost from cable.\nMy house is 23 miles from the transmitters and even with trees and hills, I get between 6 to 8 on a scale of 10 on the signal strength.  Overall very happy with my CM3018.

No reception on lower channels July 18, 2012
Reviewer: anonymous from Jonestown, Texas
Will not pick up lower or upper channels. Live within 30 miles of broadcast stations. Called customer service, was of no help, did verify correct installation. No practical solutions given. Wish I would not have wasted my money on this antenna. Rabbit ears in the back bedroom work just fine.
